First impressions are not necessarily accurate. In fact, the persona we meet maybe a far departure from the individual who tries their best to present themselves in the best light. They may appear to be concerned and friendly when they are only out for themselves. Or they may embellish their education, successes, and financial acumen to impress. They may also mask limitations and insecurities to present the illusion of superiority. These and other façades that ego assumes fall far short of the truth.

Essence, our spiritual nature, far exceeds the artificial characters we create to fool others into believing we are gifted and extraordinary. If ego, our shadow self, only realized that we were already magnificent, worthy, and perfectly imperfect, we would not need to hide or pretend. Instead of creating an artificial substitute for the real thing, ego would gladly step back and allow essence to shine forth in all her glory.

“Authenticity is a collection of choices that we have to make every day. It’s about the choice to show up and be real. The choice to be honest. The choice to let our true selves be seen.” ― Brene Brown

Feminine Spiritual Development – Self-Discovery and Radical Honesty

To be authentic, we need to be awake and aware. We need to solve the universal question and quest—Who am I? We need to discover our divine blueprint and bring all aspects of our being into alignment with our sacred self. Only then will we be able to develop and use our special gifts and abilities to uplift humanity in our unique way.

To be authentic, we must be willing to be vulnerable, to reveal and release our past. Through radical honesty, we can let go of old, limiting beliefs and behaviors that no longer serve us. We can release tons of emotional baggage that weighs us down and keeps us from flying. Divine divas have healed old wounds, and they have gotten real with themselves so they can dance with honesty and integrity. Aware of who they are, they embrace and express essence.

“Honesty and transparency make you vulnerable. Be honest and transparent anyway.” – Mother Teresa

Feminine Spiritual Development – Freedom to Fly

As essence, we can live without regrets or worries. We will no longer feel compelled to change ourselves to be accepted or to please others. Nor will we need to settle for second best. We are made in the image and likeness of God. We are beloved, holy, and whole, and we have original divinity, not original sin as we were programmed to believe.

What a relief to know that we no longer need to seek, search, and strive to be something more. We are already more than enough—pure joy, peace, love, wisdom, and power. We are freed from the “unholy trinity” of guilt, shame, and fear through the gift of grace. Instead of wandering in the wilderness of doubt, we can let our light brightly shine. No more hiding our splendor in false humility or diminishing our brilliance to make others feel better about themselves.

Divine divas know they are worthy. By aligning their body, mind, heart, and soul, divine divas have learned the dance of wholeness. True to themselves, they flower and flourish as the hands, heart, and voice of God on earth. They fly with abandon, expressing their divinity through their humanity, changing the world from within.
